Our team provides both on and off field services all of which better elevate our clients within their respective markets. OSM builds clients abilities with access to all industry standard training modalities and facilities. Our team also strives to positively build our clients brands off the field, we do so by providing creative services, media and promotion, trajectory placement and industry networking in order to optimize our clients marketability.

Chris Huffins by the Numbers

OSM Founder and CEO

Chris Huffins strives to be a ‘winner’ in every venture of life. He has immersed his world around athletics, a passion on and off the field. Chris has a successful background as an athlete and coach. Huffins is a NCAA Champion and Olympic Medalist in the Decathlon.

After his time as a collegiate and professional athlete he began coaching, a new aspect of athletics. Under his direction, his teams have won 14 All American honors, set 12 new school records, and has sent five athletes to the Olympics.

With a combined 23-year NCAA division 1 career Huffins has tremendous first hand experience as a professional athlete as well as acclaimed coach. Chris is also the Vice President of the Juco Baseball Blog (JBB) as well as executive producer of the critically acclaimed recurring YouTube show Athletics LLC.

Huffins is an up-arrow industry leader who has struck gold repeatedly and has now set his sights on the Sports Management industry. Having been a high-level athlete, his approach is always athlete centered and is rooted in what is "best practice" or Industry excellence.

Chris is a 1993 graduate of UC Berkeley (Cal) with a BS in Political Economies of Industrialized Societies, with a minor in Education. He is a member of the Indiana Track and Field Hall of Fame and The US0C and USATF Alumni organization.

Von Ware

OSM Director of Marketing, Media Relations & Promotions

Von is owner and founder of Ware Studios; A cutting-edge digital media production company that specializes in sports-based content for athletes, coaches, sports teams and companies. Ware has had the pleasure of working with companies such as Nike, ESPN, CBS, Fox, EA Sports, the NFL Network, the NFL, the MLS, the USATF, Under Armour. Von is an Emmy award winning cinematographer photographer.

Von is a former U.S track & field champion, his experience and background allow him to relate and communicate with athletes, coaches, sports teams and companies on a level that is quickly making him one of the most sought after media professionals. Von brings hard work, dedication and passion to the OSM team.

Marissa Chew

OSM Director of Speed and Agility

Marissa Chew is Director of speed and agility performance for OSM.  She specializes in fine motor movements within the gross motor movement patterning for all athletes.  She has exclusively programmed the off and pre season programs for OSM for 2 years and was extremely influential in the breakout seasons of Alan Roden, Spencer Packard, Cole Paplham, Mikes Simington and Zach Cole.   

She joined the TCU Horned Frogs staff in the Summer of 2021 after three seasons at IUPUI. At TCU, she coaches the combined events and vertical jumps.

Chew assisted with sprints in her first season with the Horned Frogs in 2021-22. Her first season with TCU saw immense success as Rob Gregory Jr. (200m) and Bryson Stubblefield, Tinotenda Matiyenga, Kundai Maguranyanga and Gregory (4x100) garnered First Team All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays set school records including a meet record time of 38.50. 

In only 3 seasons at TCU, she has coached school records in the Pole Vault, High Jump, Pentathlon and Heptathlon as well as numerous all Big XII performers.

Chew was named to two of the 2023 USATF international coaching staffs. She traveled with USATF as an assistant women's coach to both the 2023 NACAC U23 Championships (July 21-23) in San José, Costa Rica, and the 2023 Thorpe Cup (Aug. 12-13) in Marburg, Germany. 

She has spent the past two seasons coaching Lindon Victor, the 2023 World Athletics Championship Bronze medalist and Caribbean Record holder (8756 pts), as well as 2022 Commonwealth Games Decathlon Champion. 

During her time at IUPUI, her athletes set 12 school records.

She has achieved the highest certification through USATF as she is trained Level 3 in Jumps. She also has Level 2 training in Jumps, Youth, Combined Events and Sprints/Hurdles/Relays. Through USTFCCA, she also has certification in Strength and Conditioning.

Chew competed on San Francisco State's track & field team from 1999-00 in the long jump and triple jump. She graduated from Long Beach State with a BA in Kinesiology and Physical Education with an emphasis on secondary education

Brian M. Willis

OSM Director of Performance/Strength & Conditioning

Brian Willis is the Director of Strength Conditioning and power performance for OSM.  As Director of Performance and Owner of The Performance Lab Fort Worth Brian is uniquely qualified to direct the off and pre season programs for our athletes. 

Originally from Harleton, TX he has a passion for working with the very best athletes globally as well as the grassroots youth of all ages and backgrounds. He directs the programs for professional athletes currently competing all over the world in Baseball, Track, Tennis, Softball and Football. 

Brian is also an Air Force Pararescue Veteran, with countless hours of volunteer time, personal training, and experience mentoring youth throughout the state of Texas. With over 20 years of experience as a Coach and Personal Trainer, Brian creates progressive programs for people of all ages and abilities to help them become the best version of themselves, regardless of circumstances.  

He specializes in Eccentric/Dynamic Strength Training and is certified to program in all facets of training including, NASM Master Trainer.

Marissa Thornton

OSM Website Designer

Marissa comes from a family of coaches and athletes. She was exposed to collegiate athletics at a young age, giving her a unique perspective in the design industry. Marissa graduated from the University of North Dakota with an emphasis in Graphic Design and Marketing. It’s a pleasure for her to be able to mix athletics with design; crafting a functional website for prospects to find their right fit.
